Charles van der Steene

Executive Leadership Team member Charles van der Steene has been with Maersk since 2011 and was appointed President of Maersk’s North America region in February 2024. Prior to his role as President of Maersk North America, he has held both operational and commercial leadership positions at Maersk in Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Most recently, he has held the positions of Global Head of Commercial Excellence and Transformation (2023) and Head of Sales and Marketing North America (2019 – 2022).
