Stuart Sandlin

Stuart is the President of Hapag-Lloyd North America and member of the Executive Committee of HL. With degrees in International Economics and Supply Chain Management, he is focused on leading HL to be a Customer Centric empowered organization that is working to be # 1 for quality in liner shipping. Holding a degree in International Economics and an Industrial Engineering degree in Supply Chain Management, he has enjoyed spending his career at Hapag-Lloyd on the Commercial and Sales side of the business working to deliver solutions to our customers. Stuart has worked with Hapag-Lloyd in Atlanta, Hamburg, Houston, and Piscataway. Stuart briefly left Hapag-Lloyd in 2015 to join UASC as President, North America and rejoined Hapag-Lloyd through the merger in 2017.
